Steven Giordano, Arch. Tech. Architectural Technologist
My introduction to the world of construction was as an electrical apprentice (Electrical College of Canada) where I gained an appreciation for all the thought, planning, and the involvement of various trades that goes into creating good architecture. As I gained exposure to design, I became increasingly intrigued, and decided to redirect my career towards architecture by attending George Brown College for architectural technology.
“My curiosity for technology
ensures that the office is up to date
with the latest design software.”
Upon graduating, I looked for a firm that would allow me to grow and apply my knowledge of construction and coordination, and eventually found what I was looking for at FrankFranco Architects. Here, I’m able to apply my technical skills, grow in my design capabilities, and increase my effectiveness in communicating how to build.
My curiosity for technology ensures that the office is up to date with the latest design software. I’ve implemented BIM technologies to streamline the office’s design process, and introduced technologies which permit us to create virtual reality experiences to immerse our clients in their newly designed space. It’s really cool!
